River View Medical Plaza is a new 40,000 square foot, 4 story building located on the banks of the Kanawha River. A group of regional cardiologists hired Pray Construction to create a building designed to enhance the Thomas Memorial Hospital campus. The first-floor spaces are primarily dedicated to a cardio-rehabilitation center with a heart-healthy café space and expansive windows with views to the river. The owner’s medical offices occupy the entire second floor and are arranged in a highly efficient, care-centered grouping of exam rooms and medical workstations, with specialized spaces and equipment for testing and imaging located at the second-floor perimeter. The upper two floors of the building are developed for medical or professional office space and are served by two large-format medical elevators, exit stairs, and public restrooms.
